	Yes you are right Alfie and I'm pleased to report he is still living with his good lady across the street from myself here in Withernsea. I enclose a picture taken by me at his 90th birthday party at the station Hotel Patrington earlier this year.

	It is with very heavy heart that I must inform you of the death of W.O. Cyril 'Slim' Walmsley MBE at the tender age of 92 yrs. He died on Sunday 2nd of \|June at 1100hrs Slim's Funeral has been set for Friday 14th June at 1130hrs and will be held at St Patricks Church Patrington. I had the honour to serve under him at RAF Patrington during the early 70's and continued to be his close neighbour during his years of retirement. For those who remember 'Slim', you may be interested to read about his life in the Royal Airforce from 1938 until 1978 which is available to read on the Airdefop web site.
