The sad news of Dave's death has reached me.  Dave had an accident 17 weeks ago and recently contracted pneumonia which claimed his life last Wednesday.  The funeral, I understand, is likely to take place on Wednesday 18 November.  I have no more details yet.

Our condolences go to his daughter Suzie who passed on the news and the rest of his family.

I have had this message from Suzie Kilgore:
'My father David Kilgore died suddenly on the 4th November. The funeral will be held on Thursday 19th November at 10am. No flowers. Donations to the RAF Charities. Please can you put a note out that anyone who knew him would be welcome to attend.

    Thank you '
